Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to request deletion of any personal data BAROUDI LABS LTD ("Baroudi Labs") holds about you. It also serves as our official Data Deletion Instructions URL for the purposes of Meta App Review under the Meta Platform Terms.
1. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with the data you would like us to delete. Include the following:
- Your full name (or the name on the account, if different);
- The email address or identifier associated with the data;
- A brief description of what data you would like us to delete (for example, "all data", "contact form submissions", "data collected via WhatsApp through merchant X");
- Any other context that helps us identify and locate the data.
2. Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within five (5) business days and complete the deletion within thirty (30) calendar days. If we cannot complete the request within that window — for example, because the data is held by a third-party processor and verification is required — we will let you know the reason and the expected timeline.
3. Data we may keep
We may retain certain limited information after your request when required by law (for example, financial records for tax or audit purposes), or where we have a legitimate need to do so (for example, to defend legal claims). Any retained data will be limited in scope and access, and deleted as soon as the legal basis for retention ends.
4. Data processed via Meta platforms
If you are a customer who interacted with a merchant on WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram using software provided by Baroudi Labs, you can request deletion in two ways:
- From the Meta side — manage and delete your activity directly on WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram via the platform's own privacy controls.
- From our side — email [email protected] to delete records held by Baroudi Labs and any merchant we facilitate. We will coordinate with the relevant merchant to ensure deletion is completed end-to-end.
- Note: deleting your data may affect order history and customer support records held by the merchant. We will explain any such impact when we acknowledge your request.
5. Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we will email you to confirm. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days of your request, please follow up at [email protected].
